• General

  The purchase and use of a Solid Gray backpack (hereinafter to be called ‘SGbackpack’), is covered by the General Conditions governing the Sale of Products, 2007 edition, as drawn up by the Dutch Designers Association (BNO), (hereinafter to be called ‘GCSP-BNO-07′). In addition, purchase and usage of SGbackpack’ is covered by the terms and conditions on this page (hereinafter to be called ‘TC-SG-11′). If any of the terms or conditions of TC-SG-11 are in conflict with GCSP-BNO-07, the terms and conditions of TC-SG-11 will prevail. On purchase, the customer agrees to having read GCSP-BNO-07, and understands that these are part of the terms and conditions that apply to the purchase of a SGbackpack. Lijmbach, Leeuw & Vormgeving will not use personal information for any other purpose than the transaction at hand. We do not provide or sell any personal information to any other party. Lijmbach, Leeuw & Vormgeving is not responsible for VAT or any other charges for any countries outside the EU. Your government may charge you with import tax, VAT or other taxes that may apply.

• Warranty

  Solid Gray produces quality products, that come with one year’s full warranty for any manufacturing defects. Please note that our material is an industrial plastic, some minor scratches created during the production process are inevitable. In the event of any manufacturing defect, Lijmbach, Leeuw & Vormgeving may choose to either: provide you with an identical product, refurbish your current product, or give you a full refund including the original shipping costs. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, defects caused by improper usage, modifications made by the user of force majeure. Our products are designed to protect items contained in them up to a certain extent. However, Solid Gray is in no way responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including any costs of replacing a device enclosed in it’s products or any other personal property or costs of recovering or reproducing any program or data stored in a device used with or carried in it’s products. Warranty coverage ends if the purcheser sells or transfers the product. Claims should be presented at the point of initial purchase with proper documentation to validate any claims.

• Return policy

  You can return your purchased product for a refund of the purchasing price, including shipping costs. Returned items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging and identical (including color) to your original order. Customized orders (like prints or engravings) can not be returned for a refund. If you wish to apply for a refund, please contact us by email. Do not ship your product back to us before receiving an email confirmation and shipping instructions. You are responsible for return shipping, and are obligated to purchase a registered mail service including track and trace.

• Safety

  Solid Gray backpack, SGbackpack for short is only to be used as a backpack. It is not meant to be used for any other purpose. SGbackpack must not be used as a personal protection device. SGbackpack is not to be used to transport people or animals. SGbackpack is not safe to be used by children under 12 years old. Using SGbackpack during sport activities and/or swimming is not recommended, and could cause serious harm to the user. SGbackpack has several features that are designed to protect items carried in it up to a certain extent. However, SGbackpack’s manufacturers and designers are in no way responsible for any damage incurred by any items carried inside the backpack. SGbackpack may break or tear in case of a severe drop or accident, this is not considered normal use and may void your warranty. Do not drop or throw SGbackpack, do not sit on it, or put force on it in any other way. Do not attempt to close the lid when SGbackpack is overloaded, as this may dislodge the lid. Do not expose SGbackpack to heat or open fire. Do not expose SGbackpack to extended periods of sub-zero temperatures.

• Usage

  The locks on the lid can be unlocked by flipping them so that they point towards the top side of the backpak. They are closed by toggling them to their reversed position. The inside compartments are accessible by opening the lid. Note that the bottom compartment is closed off by the top compartment once the lid is closed. Your items will be safely stored in the lower compartment, but make sure that no items stick out of this compartment when closing the backpack. The laptop strap can be adjusted by moving the slider up and down. Do not adjust the slider when the strap is under tension. The strap is sufficiently flexible to fit most items without daily adjustments. Daily adjustment of the strap is not necessary or recommended. The shoulder straps can be tightened by pulling the remainder of the strap and released by pulling the tab in an upward direction. The clip inside the lid can be used for light items like paper and cardboard. Do not use it for items over 7 mm in thickness as you may damage the clip or the lid.

• Maintenance

  Like all polymer materials, polypropene will deteriorate faster under the influence of sunlight and other sources of UV radiation. SGbackpack’s material has been tested using a Q.U.V. accelerated weathering test for 2000 hours without showing any signs of mechanical deterioration. However, it is best not to leave SGbackpack exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods of time. Do not expose SGbackpack to moisture and/or humidity for prolonged periods of time. Keep your SGbackpack clean using a mild detergent and a non-abrasive pad or cloth. Sand and dirt are abrasive, and may scar the surface of your SGbackpack, given time.

• Safety

  The Solid Gray Tablet Cover, SG-TC for short is only to be used as a protective cover for tablets. It is not meant to be used for any other purpose. SG-TC is made to fit a specific brand and model tablet, which is indicated on the packaging. Using the SG-TC to contain another tablet may damage the SG-TC or the tablet.
  Using the SG-TC during sport activities is not recommended. SG-TC may break or tear in case of a severe drop or accident, this is not considered normal use and may void your warranty. Do not drop or throw the SG-TC, do not sit on it, or put force on it in any other way. Do not expose the SG-TC to heat or open fire. Do not expose the SG-TC to extended periods of sub-zero temperatures.

• Usage

  When your tablet is placed in the SG-TC, please make sure all four clasps are fully closed. When standing the SG-TC up in it’s display position or typing position, please make sure that the cover is properly locked into the handles as indicated in the illustrated manual. Only place it on a stabile and level surface, and make sure it can not be tipped over by pets, children, wind etc. The included microfibre cloth can be placed underneath the tablet. Please make sure the cloth is unfolded, clean and dirt free before using it. Besides the cloth, do not place papers or other items inside the SG-TC along with your tablet, as this may dislodge the clasps and/or handles. The SG-TC is not safe to be used by children under 12 years old. Do not leave the SG-TC, the microfibre cloth, the packaging and other contents within reach of children or animals.
